If you are considering an in-year transfer to Singlewell Primary School, please follow the steps below as outlined by Kent County Council:

1. Complete the In-Year Admissions Form: Each child will need a separate form for each school you wish to apply to.  Download and complete Kent’s In-Year Admissions Form and submit it directly to the school(s) of choice.  The form can be found here and below.

2. Checking Place Availability: Before applying, we recommend contacting us to confirm if a place is available in your child’s year group, as availability can vary throughout the year. 

3. Special Circumstances:

   • For children with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), please consult Kent’s SEND services here.
   • Members of the UK Armed Forces, Crown Servants, or families moving from abroad may have specific admissions guidance and are encouraged to contact Kent’s admissions team for further support.   Please visit kent.gov.uk for further guidance.

4. If a Place Is Not Available: If a place cannot be offered at Singlewell, parents can:

   • Apply to other schools with current availability,
   • Request that their child be placed on the school’s waiting list, or
   • File an appeal with Kent County Council.

Kent County Council will work with families to provide suitable school alternatives if no spaces are available within a reasonable distance.
