Year 5 & 6 Singlewell vs Riverview Netball Match

What a fantastic game! Singlewell Netball Team played with focus and determination throughout. The children played 4 x 10 minute quarters with Coach Shannon umpiring. The first quarter took off with a flying start and it finished 6-0 to Singlewell. We saw flying interceptions, our shooters had great accuracy and our centre court players found space getting the ball down the court so quickly that Riverview didn’t have a chance to stop us!

Most importantly, the children displayed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship by supporting each other on and off court and celebrating Riverview’s successes also. The game finished 15-2 to Singlewell but it felt a lot closer! A big thank you to Riverview who were strong competitors and also had children who were a credit to their school. We look forward to the rematch!
